Cherry and Rattan Wall Sculpture

Hand-carved from cherry wood with a textured finish, this piece is painted with dark green milk paint, then sanded back to reveal some of the wood underneath, then finished with a danish oil / wax. The colors of the reed are variations of peach, natural, and blue-gray.

The reeds are carefully dyed and bent into dynamic, curved lines that cascade from the wooden cloud, creating movement and playful intersections. The sculpture is lightweight and easy to display, hanging securely with an included French cleat.
