Walnut and Rattan Wall Sculpture

Hand-carved from walnut wood with a textured finish, this piece is painted with several layers of brown, green, and maroon milk paint then sanded back to reveal some of the wood underneath, then finished with a danish oil / wax. The reed is a dark walnut brown color.

The reeds are carefully dyed and bent into dynamic, curved lines that cascade from the wooden cloud, creating movement and playful intersections. The sculpture is lightweight and easy to display, hanging securely with an included French cleat.
